Recovery of Hope
Our Winnipeg office at 900 Harrow St is open Monday through Friday for daytime and evening appointments. We have recently opened up a limited number of Saturday appointments as well. If you are interested in an appointment at one of our satellite/rural offices please call for the specific hours.
To schedule an appointment at any of our six locations, please call our central intake line at 866-493-6202. For information about counselling or appointments you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Sessions are usually 50 minutes long. We ask that you arrive 15 minutes early for your first appointment.
Fees for sessions are assessed on a sliding scale based on your gross household income. The maximum fee is $90, and if you offer us income numbers we can see if you qualify for a reduced fee. We will determine your fee with you when you make your first appointment.
There are generous people who donate money to Recovery of Hope in order to ensure that we can provide the best service at a reasonable cost to you.
Payment can be made by cash, debit or credit card. You will also receive a receipt for your payment.
An important comment about insurance: a careful review of your personal insurance will tell you if your counselling is covered. We will ask you to pay for your session up front and you can then submit your receipt to your insurance company for reimbursement. It’s important to note that most personal insurance benefits require that your counselling be provided by a Registered Psychologist. (We do not currently have one on staff). i.e. Manulife, Great West Life.
Do you have an EAP Benefit Plan at your workplace? Many therapists at our office are approved providers for a variety of Employee Assistance Programs. Check with your employer about these details and make sure to let us know when you call to schedule your appointment.
Confidentiality is important for everyone who is courageous enough to seek out counselling. What you tell your counsellor will not be told to anyone else unless you request it or give permission.
Our Confidentiality Policy states that all notes, records and communications are kept secure and confidential. No one will reveal information concerning your counselling to anyone outside of Recovery of Hope except as follows:

The counsellor that you are seeing is a qualified, able professional who is reserving their time to meet with you, as you are reserving your time to come to Recovery of Hope.
We require that all clients provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment. You will be charged if you fail to provide 24 hours’ notice to cancel.
