Position Summary:
The Segue Career Options Program Director gives overall program direction and supervision to the Segue Career Options Inc. program in keeping with the vision and mission as established by the Board. The Program Director assists staff to assess strengths, skill levels, and vocational interests of individuals in projects, and make recommendations for programming, community resources or work situations best suited to the individual.

Qualifications:
Education/Certification:

• A Post-Secondary Education and/or experience in a related field including business administration, program coordination and/or clinical services is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a regulated health profession from an accredited university (e.g. social work, occupational therapy, nursing) would be preferred.
Experience:
• Experience and/or education in communications, human resources and/or social work is an asset.
• Experience writing proposals, grants and reports to funders is an asset.
• Experience with building relationships with government agencies, businesses and employers is an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
• Knowledge of business administration.
• Understanding of clinical processes related to mental health and addiction recovery and trauma-informed care.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Directs and/or coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Segue program.
• Develops strategic plan for the program in collaboration with the CEO and in keeping with organizational vision, mission and values.
• Chairs regular staff meetings and ensures effective communication with Segue staff.
• Facilitates and conducts routine performance appraisals for Segue staff.
• Assists the EHCS CFO as it relates to negotiations relating to the Segue program funding.
• Ensures the collection of agency statistics for submission to funding agencies.
• Oversees employment project development and operations.
• Collaborates with other Eden programs as a member of the Program Director team.
