Event Date: August 19th, 2017
Eden’s East-side Road Ride is entering its 3rd year. On Saturday August 19th we’ll gather in La Broquerie and after a few preliminaries, leave for Woodridge. The route is a beautiful 40 km stretch that passes through some beautiful countryside that includes the Sandilands Provincial Park. If you’re ready to register, please click HERE. You’ll be directed to our secure on-line registration vehicle and it will also give you some useful tools for your fund-raising efforts. If you’re visiting and would like to support a cyclist or a team of cyclists, please click HERE.
The route also features a refreshment stop about halfway between the start and the turn-around at Woodridge. There’s a bathroom and there’s food and beverages where you can stock up. Once you get to Woodridge to make the turn-around, there’ll be more refreshments before making the trek back. We have a brand new Cyclist’s Manual ready for you to down-load HERE. It has all the details about what’s going to happen during the day and also how we would like to reward you for your fund-raising efforts.
Eden Foundation recently committed itself to being supportive to a number of programs in the Eden Health Care Services family. These initiatives are outside the scope of what our service purchase agreement with the government is in a position to support.
The work that you’re doing together with us provides programs and activities that are part of healing, of community and of rebuilding hope, and you’re making safe, affordable homes available. A really significant part of the work you’re doing together with us is to provide leading practice counselling for people who recognize the need to seek professional help.
