This is the second annual Eden Foundation Fundraising Spaghetti Supper. It is in support of the work of Recovery of Hope Counselling Services that provides counselling to anyone in need regardless of their income level. Funds raised will be used to make up the difference between the cost for professional counselling services and the fee that someone can afford.
Come for a really good Spaghetti Supper at Winkler Mennonite Brethren Church, 120 Pineview Drive in Winkler on Friday February 7th. Besides the regular high quality spaghetti, you will have a gluten free spaghetti option, two different sauces, two different desserts, one being gluten free, Caesar salad and warm breadsticks. Doors open at 5 pm.
We’ll have live entertainment by Jayme Giesbrecht, bringing us a variety of Italian folk songs while you’re eating.
We will also have the chef from Eden Mental Health Centre preparing food ahead of time and during the event, making sure that what you come for is going to be fresh and hot. It’s also an opportunity to showcase the quality of the food that our chef prepares regularly for those who find themselves at the Centre for any length of time.
There will also be information at each table about Recovery of Hope and how people can access the counselling services. You’ll discover that services can be accessed and paid for through a number of companies and industries Employee Assistance Plans and through many churches as well.
The spaghetti supper is a week before Valentine’s Day, so consider skipping the dishes twice in February. You’re both worth it. That’s amore!
