Head for the Hills turns 16 this year. The ride takes place on Saturday September 8th. It’s been wonderful to see the ride grow to more than 200 riders over the past few years.
Head for the Hills is a highlight for Eden Foundation and the entire Eden organization. It brings together a wonderful community of people of all levels of riding ability, with one goal of bringing hope, healing and community to those on a mental health journey.
As in previous years, we offer two different routes, both being about 36 kms. One route is a delightful flowing single-track route through the hills and valleys along a section of the Canada Trail.
The second route parallels the first but stays on a variety of roadways. Both routes start at the same location at Colert Beach, Morden and end at the same place two miles from the US border.
Along the way there are two rest stops where everyone can refuel, refresh and review before moving on along their chosen route.
We will also take you and your bike back to the starting point. We have buses available for transporting people and a secure and efficient method of transporting bikes to the starting point.
We’ve produced a Cyclist’s Manual again this year and it includes all the details you need to know about the ride, how to prepare, what to bring, how to register, how to painlessly raise money in support of your ride.

Once you’ve registered, you’ll have access to a fund-raising vehicle that lets you do that work on-line that lets your donors make a donation electronically and you get to see the results build.
2018, our 16th year. Come ride with us!
