Head for the Hills 2017

Event Date: September 9th, 2017

Head for the Hills 2017 is scheduled for Saturday September 9th.  This is the fifteenth annual ride for Mental Health that follows a 36 km stretch of trail and road through a section of the Pembina Hills near Morden.  We have a brand new Cyclist’s Manual ready for you to down-load HERE.  It has a whole lot of detail in it about what we’re doing this for, where we’re going and how you can become involved as a cyclist or as a volunteer.  We also welcome your phone calls or e-mails.  Connect with us at 204-325-5355 or by e-mail at

If you’re ready to register, please click HERE.  You’ll be directed to our secure on-line registration vehicle and it will also give you some really useful tools for your fund-raising efforts.  If you’re visiting and would like to support a cyclist or a team of cyclists, please click HERE.

Eden Foundation recently committed itself to being supportive to a number of programs in the Eden Health Care Services family.  These initiatives are outside the scope of what our service purchase agreement with the government is in a position to support.

The work that you’re doing together with us provides programs and activities that are part of healing, of community and of rebuilding hope, and you’re making safe, affordable homes available.  A really significant part of the work you’re doing together with us is to provide leading practice counselling for people who recognize the need to seek professional help.

While you’re on the ride with us, we’ll feed and water you along the way and if you’ve been with us in previous years, you know we have a great wind-up at the end of the trail on the side of hill looking out across the valley toward the east.  Come join us!  The ride is set up to accommodate a wide variety of skill levels with both single-track trail and road options available.  Gather some friends together from work, your social group or church and register as a team.  Check out the Cyclist’s Manual for a whole lot more details.
