Covid-19 Update

To our Clients and Community,
Throughout this very difficult time, the health and safety of our clients, staff and community remains our top priority. We understand we are an essential service to Manitobans, and we want you to know that we are doing everything in our power to continue to deliver services. We are announcing a series of new measures to further enhance the stepped-up protocols at our sites. In addition, we are requesting your assistance to ensure compliance with some of them:
• Public sanitize hands when entering/exiting facilities.
• Maintain a minimum of six feet distance between others.
• We are changing appointments to be delivered through video-conference or telephone whenever possible.
• Volunteer services have been discontinued at this time.
• Visitors have been discontinued at this time and we are finding creative ways for individuals to stay in touch with their loved ones.
If you can answer “yes” to any of the following, we kindly ask that you do not visit our site in person but instead call our office for assistance. If you require urgent mental health assistance, call Crisis Services at 1-888-617-7715.
• Have cold or flu like symptoms regardless of recent travel.
• Been out of the country within the last 14 days.
• Been in close contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19.
Thank you to our fantastic teams for the enormous efforts and passion they bring to their jobs.
Also, thank you to the community for your continued support. Together, we will all get through this.
